Brendan K. Goetzinger

Brendan is a native of Rapid City, South Dakota. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Presentation College in Aberdeen, where he was also a member of the basketball team.  After graduating in 2015, he worked as a basketball trainer and coach in the Sioux Falls area before pursuing law school.

During law school, Brendan was involved in moot court and student leadership roles, serving as a student ambassador and class representative on the Curriculum Committee and Native American Law Students Association.  As a member of the Moot Court Board, his written advocacy earned recognition at both intramural and national moot court competitions.  He also participated in the Tribal Wills Practicum, providing estate-planning assistance to tribal members.

Upon graduating, Brendan was selected as a law clerk for Justice Mark E. Salter of the South Dakota Supreme Court.  Outside of work, Brendan enjoys golfing, coaching basketball, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
